Next up on our meet the makers series we have Ceri of Ceri Sian Tuck Art.
Can you tell us a little about what you do?
I paint originals on canvas, which are also reproduced as giclee prints, greetings cards, cushions, coasters and tea towels.
How did you get started?
I have always enjoyed any form of art and craft and followed this through with my college education.
Where are you from?
I am from the lovely South Wales.
What’s your favourite part of what you do?
I enjoy coming up with ideas and seeing it through to a finished product.
What’s your favourite item to make?
I enjoy producing original artwork.
What inspires you?
Animals, nature, the coast, colours, and artists such as Van Gogh, Alfred Wallis, Gustav Klimt among many others.
What was your proudest moment?
A hospital in America purchasing six of my prints, and a lady who purchased one of my dog giclee prints to be used at her late dog’s memorial.
If you won a million pounds what would you do?
Open a cafe gallery by the sea!
